About Me

Hello! My name is Nizhoni (she/they) and I am a 21-year-old college student currently living in Central New York, but I am from Arizona. I am currently completing my senior year at Colgate University where I study Sociology and Psychology. Throughout my time at Colgate, I have been able to (re)discover my spirituality. I was raised Catholic, attended a preparatory school, moved to New York, and I'm now attending a private liberal arts institution. Throughout the past 4 years, I have grown immensely. With the recent COVID-19 pandemic, this time period of immense turmoil across the globe has caused me to appreciate the power of introspection, and reflection.

After ending an incredibly important relationship to me, one that lasted two and a half years, I definitely feel a large transformation and spiritual awakening within myself. I wanted to be able to document the beauty of this journey through "Walk in Beauty," as well as share it with family, friends, or strangers who wish to read about, relate to, and reflect on my personal journey of spiritual awakening and realignment with myself.

I'm a healer. I believe this is my life's purpose, and I wanted to foster an online environment where I could document my thoughts, feelings, lessons, and artistic expression and share that with anyone who may be interested. Please join me as I embark on my journey of spiritual awakening, practice decolonial healing, and self-reflection.
